Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a Counter Sales Associate for a supply company located in Youngsville, NC. This role offers the opportunity to provide excellent customer service and support in a dynamic retail environment. The Counter Sales Associate will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient operations. Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to retail customers via walk-in, telephone, or email.
- Assist customers with inquiries on product selections, pricing, availability, and handle refunds/exchanges.
- Code and input customer orders, pricing information and additional data into the computer system.
- Provide material estimates and quotes to customers.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints, forwarding complex issues to senior staff for resolution.
- Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Work with outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required and at least six months sales-related experience.
- Knowledge of building materials, applications, related equipment, and/or the construction industry is preferred.
- Good interpersonal and customer relations skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Salary
18 - 22 /hour
