Job Summary
The Cost Analyst serves as the primary Finance team member responsible for supporting the sales team by providing costs for new products, generating reoccurring reports and maintaining our ERP system.
Responsibilities
- Work safely in every case and promote safety at every interaction with associates
- Creates Indicative Costa Requests
- Creates Net Contribution Margins
- Generates Daily/Weekly/Monthly Sales and Gross Margin reports
- Analyze sales data to ensure the pricing and profitability of products
- Responsible for forecasting and budgeting the standard gross margin
- Maintain all standard costs in our ERP system
- All Fixed Asset accounting
- Assist with 3rd party audits on all above tasks
- Any additional accounting tasks as directed by the Financial Controller
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a related cost accounting function
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics, or Finance
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools, SAP preferred
- Experience with Sales Force is preferred
- Experience working in an international manufacturing organization desired
- Strong Excel Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
Environment
- Desk job and working in a seated position in front of a computer for most of the day
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs throughout the day
