JOB OVERVIEW:
The Cost Analyst will support the Plant Controller team through data
management and analysis
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Plant Controllers in the daily, monthly, and quarterly
processes which include:
- Analyze and report material, labor, and yield variances
- Recommend updates to Bills-of-Material and Routings based on
trended data
- Collaborate on any jobs with exceptional variances for further
explanation
- Assist Plant Controllers in managing new Bill-of-Material and
Routing requests
- Work with Plant Controllers to assist in requests for costing for
new and novel items
- Manage utility (Electric, Gas, etc.) reporting across facilities
- Assist in aligning reporting formats and content across facilities
- Manage the roll up of financial reporting packages across Operations
- Assist in increasing utility of Adaptive FP&A software to drive
improvement at facilities
- Develop aligned training documentation for standard processes of Job
Close, Month End, and others
- Manage other ad hoc reporting and projects as assigned
JOB EXPERIENCE
:
- 2-5 Years of experience in a Financial Analyst or similar role
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to present reports and information with clear,
concise, and compelling communication.
- Must be adaptable and reliable.
- Proven problem-solving and communication skills, coupled with the
ability to excel and achieve results in a fluid and fast-moving
environment.
- A strong client service orientation to provide support in a highly
responsive environment.
- Possess impeccable ethics, maturity, and a diplomacy in dealing with
highly sensitive data.
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, composed manner.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills
- Identify and align with the Mission Statement for the Companies.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent experience
