Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reductions and process improvements.
2. Prepare detailed reports on labor, materials, overhead, and operational costs, and provide insights on cost drivers and potential areas for improvement.
3. Perform variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
4. Manage cost allocation processes and maintain accurate inventory records.
5. Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to understand cost drivers and develop strategies for cost control and efficiency improvement.
6. Use advanced Excel, ERP systems, and financial analysis software to automate and improve cost analysis processes.
7. Maintain inventory control and accuracy, and work closely with the inventory management team to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
8. Develop and implement cost improvement initiatives, and monitor their effectiveness.
9. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Cost Analyst in a manufacturing or production environment.
3. Proficient in cost accounting and financial analysis, with a deep understanding of labor costs, materials costs, overhead costs, and operational costs.
4. Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost allocation.
5. Solid experience with inventory management, inventory control, and inventory accuracy.
6. Proven track record of implementing process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
7. Proficient in advanced Excel, ERP systems, and financial analysis software.
8. Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify cost drivers and potential areas for improvement.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across the organization.
10. Passion for cost reduction and process improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing cost improvement initiatives.
