Northside Hospital System is seeking a talented Cost Accounting Coordinator to play a vital role in optimizing our financial health. As a key member of our Finance team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire costing process, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data systems, and empowering informed decision-making across the organization.
Here's what you'll do:
- Orchestrate the cost accounting process for Northside Hospital System
- Manage and improve data systems for superior costing functionality and results
- Lead a team of costing analysts, ensuring accurate costing for all departments and procedures
- Coordinate costing for physician practices and affiliated entities
- Champion the utilization of costing data through education and training for Finance staff and hospital management

Qualifications:Are you the right fit?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance
- Strong management and leadership skills including a minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, and Word), as well as an understanding of SQL server.
PREFERRED:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration, or Public Health.
- Six+ years experience in hospital/healthcare finance and decision support.
- Certified Public Accountant
- Project Management experience.
