About the Role:
This Accounting Analyst role at General Dynamics Land Systems is responsible for the administration and execution of company travel policy and related accounting matters. The Accounting Analyst will maintain travel corporate card program, process applications, maintain account controls and process credit limit adjustments.

Responsibilities of the role include:
Perform analytical procedures to identify accounts at risk and implement corrective actions to mitigate credit losses.
- Execute Internal Controls over Financial Reporting as well as continuous monitoring to ensure controls are adequate and operating effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Excel.
- Monitor accounting interfaces and execute error resolution procedures to ensure accounting interfaces are complete and accurate.
- Prepare and publish delinquent corporate card account reports.
- Previous experience Oracle, PaymentNet preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, detailed oriented.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Aptitude to manage multiple tasks concurrently through organization and planning.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Able to bring continuous improvement processes and methodologies to the position.
- Perform under pressure to meet deadlines, provide timely updates, and communicate status with all parties involved.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills is required.
- Works well with team and individually.
- Occasional domestic travel.
Minimum Qualifications / What you must have
- Bachelor's degree in business required. Accounting or Finance majors preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Additional Information
- This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)
- Previous experience working in defense industry desired but not required.
- Must be able to work occasional evening and/or weekend overtime as required.
