We are in search of a Cost Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be tasked with handling customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Additionally, you will be monitoring customer accounts and taking suitable actions. Responsibilities: - Ensure accurate processing of customer credit applications in a timely manner - Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer credit records - Resolve customer inquiries with a detail-oriented and customer-focused approach - Monitor customer accounts for inconsistencies or issues and take appropriate action - Use auditing skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial activities. Job Order: 03600-0013114286 Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 Benefits Medical: Yes Vision: Yes Dental: Yes Life & Disability Insurance: Yes Retirement Plans: 401K Paid Time Off Paid Vacation: Paid Holidays: Sick leave: Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Proven experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role - Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures - In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Computer literacy, with a proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software - Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills - Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work - Strong numerical skills, with an ability to analyze, compare and interpret complex numerical data - Exceptional skill in auditing is required - High level of accuracy and efficiency - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity - Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification would be considered an advantage.
