Cost Accountant - Clarke

Clarke a leading provider of solutions for the mosquito control industries is seeking to hire a Cost Accountant who will be responsible for applying principles of managerial and cost accounting while supporting the functions related to inventory management, product/item cost structures, and manufacturing reporting and variance analysis. Duties include month-end reporting, standard cost setting, cost and root-cause analysis of purchasing manufacturing and inventory-related matters, budgets, systems support and close collaboration with Supply Chain and Manufacturing personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 4+ years of cost accounting experience, CPA/CMA/MBA a plus. Manufacturing experience desirable, International business experience a plus but not required. Must be able to demonstrate excellent spreadsheet skills and ability to research and solve problems, must be able to perform effectively in cross functional groups.
• Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English in both verbal and written form. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to effectively present information to and respond to questions from management and internal and external customers.
• Technical Skills: Experience and proficiency in Microsoft products is required with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel. Proficient in working with large sets of data, manipulating, and creating custom reporting and schedules. Experience with Lawson/Infor or other leading ERP software a plus.
• Reasoning Ability: Must possess excellent analytical skills and attention to detail as well as the ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities.
