Are you a skilled Cost Accountant with a passion for optimizing financial performance and driving operational efficiency? We’re looking for a Cost Accountant to join a team in Springdale, OH. This is an on-site role with a competitive starting salary of $70,000 annually, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze Production Costs: Assess production costs and variances to uncover opportunities for improvement and maximize profitability.
• Develop Cost Systems: Create and maintain robust cost accounting systems to accurately track and report on manufacturing expenses.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and evaluate inventory levels and valuations to ensure optimal efficiency and cost control.
• Prepare Reports & Forecasts: Generate detailed cost reports, budgets, and forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with other departments to implement cost-saving initiatives and improve overall financial performance.
• Enhance Efficiency: Review manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in cost accounting, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
• Cost-Saving Expertise: Demonstrated ability to identify cost inefficiencies and implement successful cost-saving measures.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
• Cost Accounting Knowledge: Expertise in cost accounting principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (experience with EPICOR preferred).
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating cross-functionally and presenting findings to key stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all tasks.
• Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
