We are currently accepting applications for the position of Cost Accountant to implement and monitor financial and productivity accounting and auditing systems.

Compensation: $24.43 - $30.95 hourly / $50,815 - $64,376 annually (depending on experience)
Additional compensation available for Spanish speakers, after testing proficiency.
Essential Functions: (Performs all or some of the following)
- Conducts cost studies
- Calculates employee total compensation
- Maintains allocation distribution files
- Computes service unit reports
- Quantifies total employee costs
- Creates profitability reports
- Supplies information to auditors
- Tracks inpatient admission activity
- Oversees private provider payments
- Performs special projects
- Monitors Medicaid services
- Acts as backup to financial services manager, payroll, and accounting staff

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from college with a bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field AND two (2) or more years of experience performing above or related duties OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
