Description:
• We are seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to collaborate closely with manufacturing teams and provide valuable financial insights to drive business performance.
• This role involves analyzing production activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and contributing to the month-end close process.
• The Senior Cost Accountant will play a critical role in optimizing inventory, monitoring plant spending, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Over four years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software, including skills such as pivot tables, lookups, conditional formatting, and complex formulas.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, with experience in widely used platforms.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on providing actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Familiarity with physical inventory activities and cycle count analysis.
• Knowledge of process improvements and cost-reduction strategies.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $70000K-$100000K
