Position Overview:
The Cost Accountant will be responsible for setting up the standard costs for products manufactured, making a bridge with Supply Chain for inventory management and work with different departments in a strategic way to streamline production elements utilization, cost calculations and control. It is expected that the person in this position will help the team finding cost saving and efficiency opportunities in Production, OPEX and CAPEX as well. The person will be a key business partner for the company’s management team.

Essential Functions:
- Inventory Management and Adjustment
- Production rates calculation and follow-up
- Production variances monitoring (PPV, MUV, CCV…)
- Profitability analysis per product and product line
- OPEX Plan vs Actual and forecasting with area managers
- Logistics costs calculation and follow-up
- Product margins review
- Standard cost calculation and review
- Cost center structure management
- Support Supply Chain with demand planning
- Ensure Internal Controls Compliance for Cost Accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business/Administration or related areas
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Microsoft Office package intermediate level - especially MS Excel
- Knowledge in US GAAP and IFRS
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP desired
- 3 years of experience in Cost Accounting
