Overview of the Cost AccountantRole:

• Prepare cost analysis, cost reports, and variance analysis, as well as month-end and ad-hoc financial reports
• Prepare standard cost roll-ups and develop costing models
• Direct physical inventories and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Full-cycle management of fixed assets, preparing journal entries and depreciation
• Identify cost trends and collaborate cross-functionally to support budgeting and forecasting processes

Preferred Qualifications for the Cost Accountant role:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, MBA preferred
• Minimum two years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a major ERP
• Detail-oriented, organized, excellent communication skills

Location: This role is 100% onsite in North Liberty, IN

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
