Job Details
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Corporate Tax Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, analyzing financial data, and providing tax advice to clients. This is a full-time, hybrid position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Prepare and file tax returns for clients, including federal, state, and local tax returns
- Analyze financial data to identify tax issues and opportunities for tax savings
- Assist with tax planning and forecasting to minimize tax liability
- Prepare tax provisions and ensure accurate financial reporting of tax liabilities
- Provide tax advice and guidance to clients to help them make informed business decisions
- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to clients and team members
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax-related projects
- Utilize tax software programs such as Checkpoint to streamline tax preparation and filing processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax analysis and compliance
- Strong knowledge of indirect tax, ASC740, tax provisions, and Checkpoint software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining strong communication with team members and clients
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
