Position: Attorney, Corporate/Real Estate
Location: Detroit or Troy, Michigan (remote candidates considered based on qualifications)

General Overview: As an Attorney specializing in Corporate and Real Estate law, you will play a pivotal role in drafting legal documents, advising clients, and facilitating transactions within these practice areas.
Key Responsibilities (Corporate):
- Draft and negotiate various business transaction agreements such as buy-sell agreements, mergers and acquisition agreements, and operating agreements.
- Manage mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, as well as partnerships, LLCs, and joint ventures.
- Prepare regulatory filings and governance documents with precision.
- Provide insightful interpretation of laws, rulings, and regulations, with tax knowledge being a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities (Real Estate):
- Draft and negotiate real estate transaction documents including purchase agreements and commercial lease agreements.
- Conduct thorough reviews to resolve title and survey issues, perform due diligence, and coordinate closings seamlessly.
- Offer clear interpretation of laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to real estate transactions.
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated strong organizational and project management skills to handle complex legal matters efficiently.
- Exceptional research and writing abilities to deliver high-quality legal documents.
- Proficiency in utilizing online legal research services and other pertinent legal resources.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Exhibit sound and independent judgment in legal decision-making.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while contributing positively to team dynamics.
- Proven capability in managing client relationships and supporting business development initiatives.
Education, Experience, and/or Training:
- Extensive experience in navigating complex Corporate and/or Real Estate matters.
- While a portable book of business is advantageous, it's not mandatory.
- Graduated from an accredited law school, demonstrating a commitment to legal excellence.
- Admitted to a state bar in the United States, preferably Michigan, showcasing your legal expertise and credibility.
