We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and motivated Corporate & Real Estate Paralegal to join our dynamic team in the power and infrastructure industry. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to delve into the exciting world of real estate and corporate law, focusing primarily on real estate escrow, land acquisition, land use, and title searches. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team in various corporate and real estate transactions, including legal research, drafting lease agreements, and managing due diligence processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive paralegal support to our legal team in all aspects of corporate and real estate law.
2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support legal proceedings and provide accurate legal information.
3. Manage real estate escrow, title, and land acquisition processes, ensuring all transactions comply with legal requirements.
4. Conduct detailed land use research and title searches, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
5. Draft, review, and revise a variety of legal documents, including lease agreements, contracts, and corporate documents.
6. Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and other parties to gather and manage all necessary documentation and information.
7. Assist in the preparation of legal arguments, applications, declarations, and motions.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to all tasks and responsibilities.
9. Prepare and manage corporate records and filings, ensuring all documents are properly organized and easily accessible.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate & Real Estate Paralegal.
2. Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field is required. A Paralegal certification is highly desirable.
3. Proven experience with real estate escrow, real estate title, land use, and land acquisition processes.
4. Exceptional legal research skills, with a strong ability to conduct detailed title searches.
5. Extensive experience drafting and revising lease agreements and other legal documents.
6. Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal information.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
9. A proactive, flexible approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. A strong commitment to ethical legal practice and maintaining client confidentiality.
