The company is currently seeking a Corporate Purchasing Manager to assist the Corporate Vice President of Purchasing with the oversight and management of the operations of the company's purchasing, estimating, and CAD functions.

General Duties and Responsibilities :
- Act as primary contact for statewide and regional vendors
- Negotiate terms favorable to the company
- Regularly audit Divisions' budgets to identify inconsistencies, omissions, errors, etc.
- Constantly communicate with the divisions about purchasing-related issues and their impact on the company
- Visit divisions to discuss wants and needs as relates to trades, vendors and other purchasing-related items
- Constantly communicate with divisions
- Management of the DASH system and options master
- Ongoing testing of and training on the DASH system, including following any updates to the system
- Create, audit, and update Purchasing training guides
- Assist with establishing training procedures and conduct remote and on-sitetraining with Purchasing personnel
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and provide additional training where needed
- Research and identify new products and new vendors
- Perform budget analysis to project estimated rebate returns and to ensure vendors are complying with negotiated terms
- Develop annual budgets and strategic plans for the department
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in Purchasing or Estimating for a production homebuilder
- Experience with and understanding of the processes of the production homebuilding industry
- Skilled in negotiation techniques
- Experience successfully managing a team of direct reports
- Professional demeanor
- Able to develop and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Outstanding organization and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through
- Strong computer skills; willingness and ability to learn new software
- Able to travelto various division offices
