We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our team. This is a permanent role offering you a chance to work with a highly skilled team of professionals. You will be a key player in managing corporate governance, maintaining corporate records, handling corporate documents, and dealing with corporate entities. Your work will also involve preparing regulatory filings, ensuring compliance, and managing contracts. Responsibilities:
As our Corporate Paralegal, your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting in corporate governance matters, including preparing and filing necessary corporate documents, and maintaining corporate records.
2. Handling the formation, dissolution, and maintenance of corporate entities.
3. Preparing and filing regulatory filings, including annual reports, licenses, and other required documents.
4. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
5. Managing contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and maintaining contract files.
6. Coordinating with internal departments and external counsel as necessary to ensure all legal requirements are met.
7. Providing general administrative support to the legal department, including organizing files, conducting legal research, and preparing reports as needed.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal, preferably in the Mortgage industry.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
3. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, corporate records, corporate documents, and corporate entities.
4. Proficiency in preparing and filing regulatory filings.
5. Demonstrated experience in compliance and contract management.
6. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
