Corporate Paralegal
About Us: Gpac has partnered with a leading corporate law firm known for its high-caliber work and professional environment. Our team specializes in providing top-notch legal support to corporate clients, and we are seeking a skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our practice and assist in managing complex corporate transactions and compliance matters.
Position Overview: As a Corporate Paralegal, you will support attorneys in handling corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, compliance issues, and contract management. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of corporate law, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing corporate documents, including contracts, agreements, and filings.
- Conduct legal research and prepare reports on corporate legal matters.
- Manage corporate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Support attorneys in preparing for meetings, transactions, and legal proceedings.
- Maintain and update corporate databases and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a corporate paralegal.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in legal research and document management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with complex corporate transactions or international business law.
- Familiarity with corporate governance and compliance issues.
- Previous experience in a large corporate law firm or in-house legal department.
