About the Job
The Corporate Paralegal provides a variety of legal assistance to the Legal Department by providing research support services including document preparation and review, assist with creating and revising policies, and Company forms.
Responsibilities
- Partner with and provides legal assistance to the General Counsel in all aspects of corporate practice.
- Assist attorneys with litigation support services.
- Communicate with counsel regarding case developments in order to update litigation log and litigation reserves data needed by other company departments periodically
- Research and analyze regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provide written analysis to attorneys.
- Produce documents related to the development and implementation of corporate policies.
- May draft and negotiate contracts such as confidentiality agreements, and other types of agreements.
- Work with other members of the Legal team on special projects and initiatives
- Exercise discretion and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by General Counsel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Paralegal certificate required with five (5) years of related experience
