Job Title: Corporate Paralegal
About Us: GPAC has partnered with a national law firm specializing in Litigation. Their team is seeking a Corporate Paralegal with 5-7 years of experience in corporate law to work in our Los Angeles (Westwood) office. The candidate will provide general administrative support to several attorneys in Corporate and Trusts & Estates Practice Groups. Experience in a law firm setting is required.
The Firm: A national, full-service law firm dedicated to assisting businesses, institutions, and individuals. They offer legal services in business restructuring & insolvency, construction, corporate matters, healthcare, intellectual property, labor & employment, litigation, real estate, and trusts & estates. In addition, the firm offers a wide range of legal services to clients in the aviation & aerospace, cannabis, emerging cyber technologies, energy & natural resources, entertainment & sports, hospitality, and life sciences industries.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and file corporate, LLC and partnership organization and maintenance documents with PA and other States
- Prepare and maintain corporate minute books and stock records
- Track, calendar and maintain deadline-driven documents
- Complete and file various corporate, LLC and partnership forms with the IRS
- Prepare stock certificates, financing statements, and other corporate documents as requested
- Retrieval of certified copies of corporate documents, certificates of good standing, and legal existence and related documents from state officials for corporate transactions or when otherwise requested
- Perform public searches including federal and state lien searches, financing statement, and secretary of state records
- Assist in closing binder preparation and distribution, and with other corporate document distributions
- Editing and proofreading documents
- Attorney time entry
- Review of attorney billing
- Calendaring of meetings
- Client intake
- Filing/mailing
- General clerical duties including expense management
- Other duties as requested by attorneys
- Answering phones
Candidate Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. College, business school, or other relevant continuing education preferred. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of solid experience in a law firm setting and will demonstrate the following competencies:

Employee Status: Full-Time – Non-exempt – In-Office 4 days a week and one day work from home (after 90 probationary period).
Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000/year
