We are seeking a dynamic Corporate Paralegal to join our legal team in a fast-paced, growth environment. The ideal candidate will have exposure to litigation, legal research, corporate governance, secretary of state filings, and immigration law. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who wants to take on a challenging, high-impact role, and is willing to be trained. A successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support to Founders, and will be involved in a wide range of legal matters.
Responsibilities may include:
1. Assist with corporate governance matters.
2. Manage secretary of state filings, including annual reports, corporate registrations, and other related filings.
3. Conduct legal research and compile data into a Table of Authorities.
4. Provide support to Cryptocurrency clients.
5. Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders on various legal matters.
6. Maintain corporate records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
7. Assist in the preparation of board meetings, including drafting agendas and minutes; etc.
Qualifications:
1. 2+ years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal or in a similar role within the legal industry. Fantastic if you have litigation, too.
2. Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field is preferred.
3. Strong legal research skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and willingness to learn and grow.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
6. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Okay to work onsite with the team.
