We are on the hunt for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our legal team and various departments within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and compliance, with an exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department by managing regulatory filings, contract reviews, and legal document preparation.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in managing company-wide compliance programs and initiatives, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Prepare and file regulatory filings and maintain corporate records.
3. Conduct thorough KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures and perform due diligence checks.
4. Review, draft, and manage various types of contracts, including vendor agreements, confidentiality agreements, and service contracts.
5. Conduct legal research and provide summaries or reports as required.
6. Prepare and manage various legal documents, including corporate resolutions, board minutes, and legal memos.
7. Liaise with various departments and external parties to gather and exchange information.
8. Assist in the preparation of materials for board meetings and corporate governance matters.
9. Utilize Microsoft Office suite to maintain databases, prepare presentations, and manage correspondence.
10. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Paralegal Studies, Law, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal in a corporate setting, preferably in the engineering industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of corporate law and compliance regulations.
4. Proven experience in contract review and legal document preparation.
5. Strong legal writing and research skills.
6. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
7. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. High attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Must have a high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
