We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, global company where you will play a critical role in supporting our legal and business teams. This position requires a detail-oriented, organized individual with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
As a Contract-to-hire Corporate Paralegal, you will:
1. Review and redline a variety of contracts and agreements in coordination with the legal and business teams.
2. Manage domestic and international subsidiaries, including incorporation, dissolution, and ongoing compliance requirements.
3. Assist in the preparation and filing of annual reports, statutory filings, and other corporate documents.
4. Coordinate with outside counsel and internal stakeholders on various legal matters.
5. Maintain the corporate legal database, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
6. Assist with the preparation and review of board and committee meeting materials.
7. Conduct legal research and provide guidance on various corporate and regulatory issues.
8. Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
9. Assist with special projects as assigned by the legal team.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
1. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate legal department.
2. Experience in reviewing and redlining contracts.
3. Experience in managing both domestic and international subsidiaries.
4. A paralegal certificate is preferred.
5. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and corporate records management software.
8. Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues.
9. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
