Job Details
We are in search of a corporate paralegal with a minimum of three years of experience to join our team. Our firm, based in Boston, caters to a diverse clientele comprising closely-held businesses and high net worth individuals. This presents an excellent opportunity to take on a hands-on role, working directly with clients on sophisticated matters as part of our thriving business practice group.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in the following areas:
Preparing and filing documents with the Massachusetts Secretary of State and other state secretaries.
Drafting documents to organize corporations and limited liability companies.
Reviewing and analyzing lien search results, and preparing and filing UCC forms.
Organizing company minute books.
Communicating with clients to execute and compile legal documents.
Excellent communication skills are paramount, including the ability to listen actively and concisely communicate complex matters orally and in writing.
A strong work ethic, along with practice management and interpersonal skills, is essential.
Candidates should boast excellent academic credentials and be motivated self-starters with a desire to thrive in a fast-paced and collegial environment. While large firm experience is not mandatory, it is considered a significant advantage.
