To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:
·Develop and implement ESG / Sustainability strategy for a leading Tier I automotive supplier.
·Lead the assessment of material ESG risks and opportunities through engagement with internal and external stakeholders and business leaders.
·Drive ESG / Sustainability project plans and goal attainment, providing recommendations for improvement based on stakeholder expectations and peer benchmarking
·Provide support, guide decision making, facilitate goal setting and action planning, vertically and horizontally, across the organization.
·Facilitate quarterly Sustainability Steering Committee meetings, educate internal stakeholders on ESG / Sustainability topics and drive program implementation through committee team members.
·Manage annual Sustainability reporting process including cross-functional project team, content gathering, development, and data validation to report into CDP, EcoVadis, SAQ. and annual CSR.
·Assist facility resources with facility level reporting of Sustainability/ESG disclosure data into customer directed platforms and responding to customer requests.
·Guide Autokiniton Sustainability Team including performance objectives and providing resources to enrich knowledge and impact.
This full-time salary-exempt role is a part of our Corporate ESG and Sustainability team and reports to the Director, ESG & Sustainability and Risk Management.
Required experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Environmental Science or Engineering preferred.
- Five plus years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working cross-functionally to achieve organizational targets
- Must be well organized, and able to oversee multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to work in a collaborative manner with diverse constituencies
- Excellent project management skills
