Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Corporate M&A Attorney to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and other transactional matters. The position is based in our Richmond, Virginia office with a hybrid work arrangement, offering flexibility and work-life balance while maintaining a close connection to our collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage M&A transactions, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing transaction agreements and related documents.
- Conduct due diligence and provide strategic advice on legal risks and opportunities.
- Advise clients on corporate governance, compliance, and general corporate matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
- Build and nurture client relationships through effective communication and tailored legal counsel.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Virginia (or the ability to become licensed promptly).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment while maintaining strong team collaboration.
