Corporate Legal Counsel - Fiery

Experience Level: 8+ years

Description: We are seeking a Senior Commercial Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. This role will focus on managing day-to-day commercial contract matters, providing legal advice, and drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements. Over time, the responsibilities of this role will expand to cover additional areas of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including service agreements, licensing agreements, vendor agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
• Provide practical legal advice and support to various business units within the company.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Stay up to date with changes in laws that affect the company's business.
• Over time, take on additional responsibilities which may include corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, employment law, and other areas as needed.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• 8+ years of experience in commercial contract law; prior experience with OEM/channel partners strongly preferred
• Prior work experience at AM100 law firm
• Strong understanding of contract law and commercial transactions.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $160,000 – $200,000 USD. Fiery considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
