- Provide legal advice on corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and legal regulations.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel on complex legal matters.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Membership in good standing with the provincial Bar.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, including M&A, governance, and compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
