Corporate Grading Manager
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Corporate Grading Manager for JBS that reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.
This position leads plant-grading managers to achieve production and quality goals while ensuring a safe working environment. Responsibilities include managing various business functions such as building relationships with USDA grading personnel, understanding grading camera technology, managing relationships with technology providers, carcass chilling, presenting carcasses to USDA graders, optimizing carcass value through branded program selection, maintaining carcass cooler inventories and rotation, working with scheduling to forecast cattle grades, and communicating with cattle procurement and fabrication teams. The role also focuses on creating an engaged and team-oriented workforce to improve business results. A high performer will identify and resolve production bottlenecks, ensure the availability of production resources, and support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve KPIs such as Angus Program Acceptance %, % Grading Compared to the Region, Shrink %, Camera Accuracy %, and Carcass Optimization.
- Lead plant-grading managers to meet their KPIs.
- Maintain a good working relationship with USDA graders and supervision.
- Understand grading camera technology and manage relationships with technology providers.
- Investigate areas of quality improvement, revenue improvement, cost reduction, process improvements, yield measurement, equipment and facility maintenance, and provide supply chain insights in cooperation with other departments.
- Ensure all carcasses are identified and sorted to meet required specifications.
- Analyze data to support decisions related to supply chain needs.
- Ensure plants are properly staffed and trained to meet production needs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, human resources, and safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of work experience in beef grading.
- Strong people management and communication skills.
- Extensive computer knowledge.
- Previous leadership experience required.
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $101,000-$135,000; and
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
