CFS has partnered with a growing manufacturing company that's looking to hire a Corporate Financial Reporting Manager. Our client is a full service producer of complex mechanical products and fabricated structures for military vehicle systems and commercial agricultural equipment that range from complete design services to prototype manufacturing, testing, production launch, full rate production and product service and sustainment. The Corporate Financial Reporting Manager, is responsible for the management of all financial reporting requirements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and corporate level treasury functions. This includes reporting to Executive team, Creditors, Board of Directors, and multiple other users as needed.
Corporate Financial Reporting Manager Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and special projects
- Prepares financial statements and footnotes for auditors and other interested parties
- Provides timely and accurate analysis of financial reports and trends
- Enhances and/or develops, implements, and enforces policies and procedures by way of systems and processes that will improve overall reporting, efficiency and effectiveness
- Assists in efforts to upgrade and improve the software system finance module as needed;
- Assists in developing and implementing procedures to manage cash flow
- Utilizes computer and software programs to complete accounting and finance functions including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Excel, Plex ERP, etc.
- Supervise staff - include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Performs other duties as needed to support the Finance department
Corporate Financial Reporting Manager Requirement's & Education:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5-15 years of relevant accounting and finance responsibilities
- Public accounting experience
- CPA (highly preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience within the manufacturing industry.
- ERP or Plex experience
