Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy Development: Lead the formulation of financial strategies that align with Fluence Corp's long-term goals and objectives.
- IFRS Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting is in strict compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Financial Reporting: Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company's assets and financial stability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and internal controls.
- Strategic Projects: Participate in and lead special projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, financial system implementations, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position. Experience with IFRS is required.
- Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools.
- Attributes: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of IFRS, financial regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in financial management.
