Corporate Farm Manager (Bilingual/Spanish)

The Corporate Farm Manager will direct the daily operations of all corporate owned breeder and growout farms providing leadership, training, and direction. This position will ensure daily operations and animal welfare practices are in compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and Coach team members to ensure strong results though performance management and development planning.

· Developing and implementing a strategic plan with the Breeder/Growout Manager while balancing the immediate needs with the long-term goals of the company.

· Reports weekly trends of mortality, marketability, FCR, weights and cost at team meetings.

· Drive efficiencies including labor and facility performance, while maintaining Company animal welfare standards.

· Develop and implement operational processes and ensure accountability with change management with all levels of staff.

· Propose capital projects as needed to management that result in a return on investments through optimal bird performance.

· Work with Production team to develop weekly plant schedule and advise on possible weights of incoming birds.

· Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.

· Report animal welfare and potential Food Safety issues to management.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred.

· Minimum 5 years of demonstrated supervisory experience in related field

· Poultry or livestock experience preferred.

· Bilingual English/Spanish required.

· Ability to travel and cover a large geographical area in a given day.

· Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

· Knowledge of animal welfare and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
