PROJECT COORDINATOR & ESTIMATOR
JOB SUMMARY
Manage activities to ensure submittal of accurate proposals, conformity of project contract documents, and adherence to project schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Independently review specifications, building drawings, and existing equipment to optimize material and labor requirements for creating proposal documentation.
- Organize and manage a centralized cost and application estimating database and a formal process to support cost estimating.
- Review completed projects to estimated costs versus actual spend to evaluate any discrepancies and implement corrective action.
- Evaluate cost factors and schedules used for planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
- Consult with branch offices, suppliers, and external customers to execute a successful project, resolve issues, and manage relationships.
- Monitor and analyze project performance metrics for risk management.
- Coordinate drawing approvals externally and work of other departments internally to fulfill contractual obligations.
- Develop, maintain, and deploy training for processes, systems, and procedures.
- Update required documentation and systems to reflect current status.
- Review all project correspondence with internal and external customers and promptly respond as necessary.
- Recognize and implement improvement recommendations for the project lifecycle process.
- Identify market trends for cost reduction, supplier analysis, products and application, and industry offerings.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s in related or equivalent experience
- Experience: Minimum 5 years industry experience or equivalent education and experience in relevant field and role.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel

- Job duties are performed mainly within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
