Job Title: Corporate Development (M&A) Analyst/Associate
Location: Gainesville, GA (Hybrid)
Reports To: Executive Partners
Position Type: Full-Time
Job Overview: As the Corporate Development (M&A) Analyst/Associate, you will assist in all aspects of the company's corporate development and growth efforts, including M&A and greenfield development opportunities. This individual must thrive in a growth culture and help support and enhance the corporate development capabilities. This role drives the research, financial modeling, valuation, materials creation, and project management efforts that are critical to defining and executing on the organizations organic and inorganic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Target, evaluate, and maintain a pipeline of M&A targets
- Demonstrating creativity, persistence, and credibility in reaching out to Owners, Operators and C-Suite leadership
- Perform financial analysis, valuation, and process management to enable deal execution
- Support development of comprehensive financial and strategic rationale to inform determination of deal structure and deal negotiations
- Participate in operational and financial due diligence, including quality of earning analysis
- Participate in legal negotiations
- Analyze financial statements and produce pro forma financial models
- Support and manage pre-closing integration and closing processes
- Conduct specialized research, interviews, and analysis to evaluate market landscapes, competitors, and current business strategies
- Support cross-functional project teams to manage and execute high-value initiatives across businesses
- Support special projects and requests for executive and senior leadership teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in Transaction Services, Investment Banking, or Corporate Development environments
- Excellent rapport building skills with the ability to build relationships quickly at all levels including C-suite
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis concepts, analytical ability, and attention to detail required
- Strong project management/organizational skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment required
- Strong quantitative skills and good working knowledge of financial modeling
Work Environment:
