Position Summary:
We have an opening for a full-time Corporate Counsel in our Westport, CT headquarters. This is a very unique opportunity for an attorney with commercial contract experience to l work in an inhouse legal department, reporting to the General Counsel. As one of the Company’s legal representatives, you will be a key member of our team and will have the following responsibilities:

- Review, draft, and negotiate agreements and a wide array of contracts (including service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, software agreements, etc.) on behalf of LogicSource.
- Maintain databases for a variety of legal documents and information.
- Work with multiple teams across the company on legal issues that arise from time to time, including but not limited to those relating to HR and employment, privacy, corporate security, risk management, corporate governance, etc..
- Provide training and guidance on company related legal topics.
- Research and anticipate unique legal issues that could impact the company or our clients.
- Identify risks and propose alternative structures to mitigate risks involved in potential transactions.
Required Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from a recognized university.
- Licensed attorney in State of Connecticut.
- 3-6 years of experience in commercial contracting work in an inhouse setting, prior experience with issues related to privacy, CCPA, GDPR (and other international privacy laws) are a plus
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management working with multiple different groups and business leaders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple commitments at a time
- Robust legal writing / contract drafting with high attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised, taking ownership of responsibilities
- Accountable, flexible, nimble
