We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Corporate Controller to join our dynamic team and lead our financial operations. Reporting directly to our CFO, this position plays a vital role in managing our budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting functions while ensuring compliance with GAAP and all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and financial reporting systems to ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard revenue, costs, budgets, and expenditures.
- Supervise treasury management across multiple entities.
- Work closely with the CFO to develop and execute financial metrics, budgets, forecasts, and reporting standards on bi-weekly, monthly, and annual timelines.
- Establish and implement standardized accounting policies and procedures across departments.
- Lead efforts to enhance internal workflows and optimize resource allocation.
- Provide hands-on guidance and direction to the accounting team, nurturing both personal and professional growth goals.
- Foster a positive work environment by enhancing morale and aligning productivity with organizational objectives.
- Allocate resources, oversee departmental priorities, and support team success.
- Manage all annual audits (financial and tax) while collaborating with external tax teams to meet accurate tax filing deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
- 10+ years of accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
- Proven success in the Client wholesale, DTC, or retail industries (preferred).
- Exceptional knowledge of GAAP standards and compliance with federal, state, and local tax guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong ERP system experience is essential.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (preferred).
