About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, driven, and results-oriented Corporate Controller to oversee all aspects of accounting, internal and external financial reporting, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP accounting and reporting, possess excellent leadership and communication skills, and have the ability to support the design and implementation of a new ERP system. Moreover, a key aspect of this role is driving continuous process improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do

Oversee the company's accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of year-end and quarterly financial statements both for the Board and external investors and creditors.

Develop and maintain internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure financial integrity.

Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Work cross-functionally with teams such as Operations, Sales, HR, R&D, Marketing, IT and IS to gather data and insights for strategic financial planning.**

Support the design and implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with existing financial processes.

Evolve and change existing processes to ensure a more streamlined process flow.

Champion and lead continuous process improvement initiatives within the accounting department.

Evaluate and optimize financial workflows and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.

Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings.

Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.

Collaborate with senior management to support strategic financial decision-making.
What You’ll Bring
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is preferred.

Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role in a technology company.

Multi-year public company audit experience, preferably with a Big Four firm

Thorough knowledge of GAAP principles and financial regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness.

What We Offer
The salary range for this role is $165,000-185,000 however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
