Corporate Controller (Saas) - Remote Opportunity - Daley and Associates

Controller (SaaS) - Fully Remote Opportunity 

A growing SaaS company located in Boston is seeking an experienced accounting and finance professional to join their team as a Controller.  This position will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting operations and financial reporting for the company.  The controller will work closely with executive leadership on key strategic financial decisions and initiatives.  This is a fully remote opportunity for east coast candidates only, and the company is willing to pay a salary range of $200k-$225k base, plus bonus and equity. 

Responsibilities will include: 

•  Oversee the monthly close process to issue timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

• Review customer arrangements for proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and revenue recognition accounting standards

• Lead Licensing Operations team to ensure efficient and scalable product delivery to customers, and adherence to company bookings policy

• Oversee efficient daily A/P and A/R processes

• Establish, implement and monitor accounting policies, practices and systems to create a strong internal control environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree in Accounting/Finance is required

• CPA required

• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience with a mix of both public and private accounting

• Minimum 2 of experience directly managing and developing a high-performing team

• SaaS experience with strong operational and technical accounting background

• Experience with cloud-based ERP systems; implementation experience helpful
