Responsibilities:
As the Controller, you will lead our accounting team and oversee financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Monitoring: Closely monitoring the financial health of the hospice by analyzing financial statements, payroll, budgets, and tax compliance issues.
- Reporting: Producing comprehensive financial-status reports for senior managers to enhance operational efficiency and support continued growth.
- Guiding Financial Decisions: Applying company policies and procedures to the current economic landscape to guide financial decisions.
- Financial Controls: Developing, implementing, and maintaining financial controls and guidelines.
- Budgeting: Achieving budgeting goals through proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.
- Payroll Efficiency: Maximizing payroll efficiency through innovative process development.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience: A background as an accountant, preferably in a senior role within the industry.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Abilities: Skilled financial analysis capabilities.
