Job Description:
Reporting to the VP of Marketing and Communications, this is an exciting opportunity to drive awareness and thought leadership through public and analyst relations. As the manager of corporate communications, you'll be joining an experienced team of marketing professionals driving innovative cloud cybersecurity software products to market. Our ideal candidate will thrive on partnering and collaborating with product marketing and the leadership team to create and deliver a public relations and social media programs that drives awareness of our Company, products, people and customers across the industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop the company’s communication road map in partnership with executive and internal audiences
- Provide strategic guidance on identifying and engaging with media, analysts, and influencers
- Collaborate with executives to craft and pitch press releases an thought leadership columns
- Write copy for website, blog, email marketing, brochures, ads, and other means of communication
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and client challanges to generate effective communications
- Connect with influential media outlets and journalists to place stories about company news and other initiatives
- Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed, and serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with the iboss tone and mission
- Provide direction and oversight to outside PR agency
- Lead the identification, recruitment of candidates and completion of high-quality, high-impact customer success deliverables for use in Marketing and Sales activities (ex: case studies, source material for webinars or live events)
- Lead video production of high-tech education and marketing videos
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience implementing public and analyst relations, as well as social marketing programs in a corporate environment
- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) in communications or journalism
- Exemplary writing skills with experience in all forms of corporate and executive communications, from news releases to executive talking points
- Must have a solid understanding of the PR Style Guide and demonstrated the ability to adhere PR best practices
- Broad understanding of B2B marketing
- Strong skills in production tools such as Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Adobe Premiere
- Understanding of videography including camera options, setup, and lighting
- Ability to take strategic plans and translate into actionable, tactical communication programs
- Highly-collaborative interpersonal skills: can work effectively in a team environment and maintain composure and quality of work while under deadline
