Corporate Buyer 

Minimum 3 years of Purchasing Experience 

Venteon is currently seeking a Buyer to fill an opening with a Tier 1 Manufacturing Company in metro-Detroit. Candidates should have Purchasing experience, ideally experience purchasing corporate services such as travel, HR and IT.

Requirements of the Corporate Buyer

• Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing 
• Strong experience purchasing corporate services such as travel 
• Experience working with a global supply base and internal stakeholders
• Significant experience in contract negotiation and risk management

Responsibilities of the Corporate Buyer 

• Pursue systematic TCO reductions and value enhancements for the assigned commodities. Track KPI s and deliver reports as assigned.
• Execute comprehensive Request for Quote (RFQ) process and support functional users in a timely manner while minimizing the risk and maximizing the value
• Identify and develop strategic supply sources for the assigned commodities. Manage relationships with all suppliers, resolve supplier issues and optimize suppliers performance.
• Support general business activities and requirements of the specific functional groups, carry out other duties as assigned.
