Position Title: Corporate Attorney

Reports to:

Location: Sun Valley, CA

PMC Global, Inc. is a privately-held management company, with more than 25 subsidiary operations world-wide, located in 10 U.S. states and 15 countries.

Purpose: responsible for preparation and negotiation of a wide variety of commercial contracts and business documents, including entity supply agreements, vendor agreements, commercial leases, entity formation, corporate governance documents, letters of intent, asset and equity acquisition contracts, and other commercial transactions.

Position Responsibilities:

• Advising company leadership and senior management on various legal matters, and new and existing laws.
• Examining, editing, or creating draft agreements, including purchase, supply and vendor agreements.
• Maintaining knowledge of organization’s operations and legal documents.
• Conducting legal research and reviewing company's litigation strategy pertaining to legal actions.
• Preserving all corporate records and other legal documents.
• Liaising with outside counsel regarding directed assignments.

Required Education/Experience:

• JD Degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• California State Bar License
• At least 5 years of law firm or in-house experience focused on corporate, real estate, or contracts

• In-house experience with complex contracts or complex real estate transactions a plus

Competencies:

• Able to work hard in a fast-paced office to meet difficult deadlines, goals, initiatives, etc.
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to multi-task without letting work “fall through the cracks”.
• Understands the need for integrity and demonstrates awareness of ethical implications in all situations
• Effective computer and communication skills, including Office Products and computerized legal research.
• Ability to manage a range of commercial and general corporate transaction matters through completion with effective communication and time management
