Overview
At FutureCare our Corporate Accounts Receivable Manager will manage processing and collections of accounts receivable, monitor compliance with billing rules/regulations by conducting reviews/audits relating to Medicaid/Managed Care, and general operation. Additionally, the Corporate Accounts Receivable Manager will also provide regular on-site guidance to the facility Patient Account Manager and facility management to ensure delivery of high-quality services of profitability and collections.

Responsibilities
- Review and provide guidance to Patient Account Managers regarding Aspect of Care and Resident Fund Management Service (RFMS) audits Assist in ventilator and other referrals
- Provide RFMS guidance to manager for State Official review Provide regular on-site guidance as requested by facility Patient Account Manager
- Responsible for quarterly credit balance report review
- Represent the organization by attending legal proceedings as needed (guardianship, etc.)
- Ensure operations of the business office comply with FutureCare standards and all regulatory requirements
- Monitor the implementation of and compliance with financial and operating policies and procedures
- Utilize available data, including aging reports, A/R tracking logs, census and customer service data to identify potential problems relating to Private Pay, Medicaid, and Managed Care Balances
- Assists in the revision and/or development of A/R, systems, policies and procedures to promote continual improvement
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Director Patient Accounts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or college degree in accounting strongly preferred
- Must have 5+ years’ experience in a healthcare related accounts receivable environment including supervisory status
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with vendors, payors, staff, and management
- Strong research, problem solving, and resolution abilities are also required
- Must have a thorough knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and solid knowledge using Excel software
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
