Job Opportunity: Finance Analyst (Hardware & Home Improvement Division)
Join our dynamic team in the Hardware & Home Improvement (HHI) Division as a Finance Analyst supporting our Operations team. This exciting role offers the chance to contribute to cost accounting, customs, and various special projects while fostering efficiency through process improvement. As a valued member of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a robust control environment and engaging with diverse teams across the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Product Cost Analysis (30%): Set up costs for new products and analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, and services to determine cost effects.
- Standard Cost Management (25%): Coordinate and prepare the annual standard cost setting process, ensuring accuracy in new standard costs and analyzing year-over-year variances.
- Month-end Close Support (20%): Participate in the month-end close process, including customs accrual/receivable and account reconciliation, while maintaining SOX documentation for cost accounting functions.
- Special Projects (20%): Complete ad hoc projects for various departments, acting as the finance partner on special project teams.
- Process Improvement (5%): Identify and implement process improvements to streamline reporting and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent; MBA and/or CPA a plus.
- 1-3 years of finance/accounting experience.
- Operations/manufacturing finance experience is advantageous.
- Ability to cultivate strong business partnerships and achieve results through influence.
- Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities and business acumen.
- Proficiency in general accounting principles, P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Advanced PC skills, particularly in Excel, Access, and data mining.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience with Essbase, SAP, MFG PRO, and Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) is a plus.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position in a standard office environment.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $53,851 - $78,982 per year
- Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) matching and parental leave.
