Responsibilities
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be expected to:
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring all client needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Analyze, assess, and address client's risk management needs to recommend suitable insurance coverage.
- Prepare and present proposals for renewals and new business, demonstrating a clear understanding of clients' requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Collaborate with underwriters and other insurance professionals to negotiate terms and conditions for clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and product developments to provide accurate information to clients.
- Handle all aspects of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance.
- Resolve any policy related issues or concerns and ensure compliance with policy standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Commercial Lines Account Manager role should possess the following:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance, specifically in property and casualty.
- Proven experience in account management, policy analysis, and risk management.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex insurance concepts to clients.
- Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to make informed decisions based on data.
- Proficiency in using insurance software systems and other computer applications.
- A valid insurance license or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
