Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cardiopulmonary Coordinator is a participating member of a multidisciplinary team who demonstrates supervisor skills and knowledge in the management of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric. This position requires you to have a variety ofknowledge incardiopulmonary operations, including business records, assigning duties, staff evaluations, competencies, and continuing education. Strict interdepartmental development and interpersonal skills are required to effectively provide the leadership and support to maintain working relationships within the various departments.

What you will do in this role:

• You will serve as role model regarding recognition of hospital policy and procedures and maintenance of hospital standards as they relate to human relation skills. 
• You will evaluate and monitor services to assure quality care is being given to patients. 
• You will serve as a resource for staff, physicians and other hospital staff for respiratory care questions and issues.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist
