SUMMARY:
The Events Coordinator reports to and assists the Events/Development Manager to support fundraising through external events and administratively assists the foundation department as needed. This full-time position is responsiblefor assisting with the planning and execution of several events to enhance and grow revenue and engage with current and prospective donors. They will actively cultivate new fundraising events, manage event logistics and effectively support event volunteers. Thisposition is responsiblefororganizing, implementing,and directing special events, and administrative duties as assigned including database support. The coordinatorassists theEventsManager withthestrategy forfundraising and execution forevents and supports the Chief Development Officer (CDO) in meeting fundraising goals and office needs.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:
- Provideoversight tocampaigns, events,and programs, toincludestrategicplanning of outreach efforts, connecting partner to the cause, monitoring progress and motivating all levels of employees with communicationand visitation, and conceptualizing and implementing partner recognition.
- Provideoversight forfundraisingeventsincludingtherecruitment of participants,coordination of theprogram,volunteer recruitment,logistics,internaland externalpromotionand post-event analysisin partnership with the Donor Relations and Event Manager.
- Working withTMCFoundationsponsorsand TMCstaff,developand implement amarketing plan to highlight Foundation events and sponsor activity and promote TMC Foundation successes.
- InconjunctionwithTMC’s communications team, coordinatesocialmedia andmarketing related to Foundation events.
- Establishes and manages information tracking processes regarding acknowledgement, recognition, and on-goingcommunicationstoenhancedonorand sponsorrelationships with TMCH Foundation and increase the likelihood of continued contributions.
- Interfacesand providesdirection to otherintra-department teams to help createadonor-centric culture.
- Helpstoensure that current and futureprotocolsaredocumented and adhered to,including assisting with annual budget creation and tracking.
- Ensures event sponsors and donors are recognized for their giving and provided with impactful communicationand storytelling that is conveyed in a way that is understandable and exciting, identifyingwhat ismeaningful to donorsandaddressing theunderlying motivationsthat fueland inspire long-term support.
- Attendsregularmeetingsandprovideinputandfeedback aswarrantedandappropriate.
- Maintains attentiontodetailaswellasgraspthebigpicture,while advancingindividual relationshipsalong the continuum of TMC Foundation donor activity.
- DemonstratesTMCHFoundation’scorevalues customers, employees,andvisitors;andprovided quality servicein the performance of work assignments and duties.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:Bachelor’sdegreeoranequivalentcombinationofrelevanteducationandexperience.
EXPERIENCE:One (1) to three (3)years’ experienceinfundraisingorrelatedfieldatanon-profit institution.Progressiveexperienceanddemonstrablesuccessinfundraisingrequired.

·Workingknowledgeofallaspectsofnon-profitfundraising.
·Knowledgeofnon-profitorganizationsandlawsgoverningnon-profitorganizations.
·Excellenttimemanagementandorganizationalskills.
·Demonstrated successful communication skills; strong interpersonal communication skills to interact effectivelywith donors and prospects and represent the TMCH Foundation; written and oralcommunication skills with the ability to conceptualizeandarticulatein clear and simpleway.
·Strategicandanalyticthinking,organization,abilitytomotivateandgaincooperationfroma widerangeofindividualsincludingphysicians,healthcareworkersandadministrators,and senior leadership to meet objectives
