Work Location: Atlanta, GA
Description:- Responsible for the oversight of provider schedules and payroll for the clinical providers, anesthesiologists & anesthetists, and staff within an assigned division to insure appropriate staffing levels across multiple locations and service lines on a 24-hour basis
- Work with departmental leadership to build and maintain monthly operating room master schedules, modify master schedules to accommodate time off requests, meeting days, academic days and leaves of absences, and coordinate and assist with schedule changes as requested by the Chief of Service and APP Leadership
- Additionally this role will be responsible for the administration and update of the electronic scheduling system (Qgenda) including provider and schedule task additions, deletions and updates, calculation and input of annual limits and reconciliation, initial verification that providers have met their annual FTE obligations, and that call schedules for all service lines are communicated to the necessary partners at each division location
- This role will also serve as the division timekeeper for all EHC APP and staff roles
- Payroll tasks will include the regular oversight of payroll for all service lines within the assigned division including Kronos tracking, preparation and submission of monthly physician and APP extra shifts, call pay, and other extra duty payroll submissions, verification of payroll FTE and labor allocations used in the submission of payroll, and preparation of payroll and productivity reports on various metrics as requested by the Anesthesiology leadership team
- In addition to the task above, this role will be the divisions primary access coordinator, HLC coordinator, work with Service line leadership to onboard and orient new providers from an operations perspective, track and maintain compliance with required competency and point of care testing, and support clinical operations projects as requested
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree in business/office management or related field and 4 years work experience in either: staffing, scheduling, customer service, healthcare administration, or human resources
- Equivalent education or experience will be considered
