The position in our New York office requires a professional and detail-oriented candidate who is able to provide a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills and must be an independent worker who is also able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Regular hours will be 10:00 am - 6:00 pm ET. This position reports to the Office Administrator.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Greet clients and visitors and manage telephones, simultaneously
- Follow firm security procedures and protocol for all visitors, ensuring guests are registered with security, identified and properly escorted by firm personnel
- Manage requests for visiting attorney offices
- Remain current with the structure of the firm including offices, practices, and hierarchy of firm personnel in order to best serve our in-bound callers, connecting them to their party the first time
- Assist with the scheduling of conference rooms utilizing Event Management software and ensures seamless client services including but not limited to arrangements for video conferencing and computer equipment

Qualifications:- Minimum one year of customer service or reception experience in a large office environment, preferably in a professional services firm
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including tactful interaction with other professionals
- Professional, positive attitude and strong commitment to customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and ability to effectively adapt to changing priorities while maintain a calm demeanor during stressful situations
- Demonstrate initiative, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to analyze alternatives and to solve problems decisively
- Reliable and punctual
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The full-time base annual salary for this position in the New York City market is expected to range between $48,000 and $52,000. This range represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting for a position in New York City. Salaries in other markets will vary depending on market data. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
